"Screen quality feels worse than expected"
I got the unit set up the screen was disappointing right away. Compared to other devices I’ve used around this price, it just doesn’t look very sharp, and the touch response feels sluggish. Sometimes I have to tap more than once to get it to register, which gets annoying quickly. Overall, I’m not really happy with it.

"CarPlay keeps cutting out on me"
I really wanted this to work, but it’s been frustrating. Android Auto keeps freezing, and CarPlay randomly disconnects while I’m driving. It feels like this wasn’t tested very well before being sold. For me, it’s just not worth it

"Disappointing sound and mic quality"
I really wanted to like this, but the sound in my car is thin and crackly, and the mic has been even more frustrating. People on the other end of my calls keep telling me they can’t hear me clearly, which just isn’t fair when you’re paying this much for something that should handle basic audio properly. I expected it to at least work decently for calls and music, but it’s been a letdown.

"Felt like a risky buy that didn’t pay off"
I feel like I paid more than this was worth. The product feels a bit cheap in person, and for the price, I expected something more solid. I’m careful about where I spend money online, and this just didn’t give me much confidence after receiving it. I don’t think I’d buy from Carputech again

"Getting a reply shouldn’t be this hard"
I reached out about my order and barely heard anything back. I ended up having to send multiple messages just to get a response, which was frustrating. I get that support teams can be busy, but customers deserve basic communication, especially after they’ve already paid. A simple update would’ve gone a long way

"Fitment wasn’t quite as advertised"
I ordered this for my exact car model and year, so I assumed it would be a straightforward fit, but it didn’t line up the way the site made it sound. I ended up messing with the brackets and cables a lot more than I expected. Support did respond, and maybe I’m just reading into the tone, but it kind of felt like they were guessing too. The product itself seems okay once you get it sorted, I just wish the compatibility info was more accurate.

"Slow shipping and I don’t really trust the delivery promises now"
I ordered from Carputech and the shipping took way longer than I expected based on what they made it sound like. The tracking barely changed, the delivery date kept getting pushed around, and I was the one constantly checking for updates because no one really explained what was happening. The product might be fine, but the whole delivery experience was frustrating and it definitely made me lose trust in ordering from them. I wouldn’t buy again if I needed something to arrive on time.

"Install was such a pain"
Thought this would be a quick install. Nope. Total headache. The instructions were vague. Wiring made no sense to me. I ended up watching a bunch of random videos just to figure it out. Took way too long. Not easy at all. Wouldn’t buy it again

"Setup was more frustrating than it should’ve been"
Getting this set up was a bit of a headache. The instructions weren’t very clear, and the screen felt clunky to use. I don’t expect everything to be perfect, but it feels fair to say something people pay for should at least be straightforward enough to get started without so much confusion.

"Return and warranty process was frustrating"
The product was fine at first, but after a few weeks I started running into some issues. I reached out to Carputech about the warranty, and it took longer than it should have to get a straight answer.
The return/refund process was also confusing. I had to send photos, repeat the same explanation more than once, and then wait around for replies. What annoyed me most was getting those canned “sorry for the inconvenience” messages instead of an actual helpful update.
They did eventually respond and sort of move things along, but the whole experience felt way more frustrating than it needed to be. The product itself wasn’t the main problem for me — the support process really needs work if something goes wrong.

"I really wanted this to work..."
I really wanted this to work, but setting up my backup camera with their unit turned into a whole headache. I’m a little embarrassed by how much time I spent trying to figure it out, especially when adding accessories just made everything more confusing. Support took a while to get back to me, and in the end I gave up and removed it.

"I don’t know, this thing just felt kind..."
I don’t know, this thing just felt kind of cheap from the start, and then it stopped working way sooner than I expected. Frustrating overall. I had a bad feeling about it, and unfortunately I was right.
